BOOK THE STUDIO FOR
MIXING
The main purpose of this studio. Great acoustics and incredible speakers give deep confidence at any stage of mixing.
The room is also big enough and equipped for attended mixing sessions with clients.
The whole environment is optimised for mixing, from the computer, the ridiculous collection of plugins, to the DAW controllers and faders, to the vibes and even the lighting.
MASTERING
The same listening confidence, through the Present Day Production MUM-8 Beryllium speakers and great acoustic treatment and size of the room. All you need to make top quality decisions very quickly. The environment dramatically speeds up the workflow.
Top quality software and ability to connect your own computer easily.
PODCAST
The studio is big, comfortable, full of vibes and equipped with coffee/tea station.
All in all, a great, comfortable environment to record and film your podcasts (video equipment and lighting available).
Content Creation
Use the studio equipment and looks to make content for social media. I suggest batch production. One day in this studio can give you weeks of high quality content.
Focus Sessions
Book the studio with other Fauves and help each other, share mixes, work together, share the space and build each other up, with or without me facilitating.

BOOK ME IN THE ROOM WITH YOU
I’m Alessandro Favero, a London-based mixing engineer and the founder of Fauves Cage. Before building this room, I worked in studios alongside Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, The Killers), Flood, Fab Dupont (Shakira, Jennifer Lopez), Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne), Ricky Damian (Dua Lipa, Jorja Smith) and Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Måneskin).
I studied classical piano at the Conservatorio di Venezia and hold an MA in Commercial Music Production. For six years I’ve taught more than 300 producers, artists and engineers across London, in classrooms, small groups and one-to-one, how to make confident mixing decisions.
I am also a tutor of Studio Engineering and I have designed and lead Mix Engineering at ICMP London.
On a coach day I’m in the room with you, working on your mix, your master, your podcast or whatever you want to get better at. You leave with the work done and with more understanding, tools and workflow to improve your practice.

FAQ
-
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 1 December. A day runs from 10:00 to 17:00. If you need different hours, ask and I’ll see what I can do.
-
With dry hire (£250/day) you get the full room and all the equipment to work on your own. On a coach day (£400/day) you get everything in dry hire, plus me in the room all day, working with you on your project, mix, master or learning goals.
-
Request your date and tell me what you’re working on. Once I’ve confirmed it’s available, a 50% deposit by bank transfer secures the day. The balance is due by midnight the night before your session. If you’d rather pay by card or use Klarna to pay in instalments, let me know when you send the booking request.
-
Your deposit is refundable up to 7 days before your session.
-
On your first visit, I’ll do the setup and give you a short induction (15–30 minutes, taken from your booked time). From your second booking, you’re free to set up yourself.
-
Yes, but I recommend the main computer. It’s ready to go at 10:00 with the full plugin library (all Waves, Plugin Alliance, Slate Digital, SSL and Soundtoys, most of FabFilter, and more). It also has the two compressors, my Roland Fantom G (audio and MIDI), my Line 6 Helix, and top-quality conversion, all connected.
-
Three pairs of monitors (Present Day Production MUM-8, Avantone CLA-10A, Pure Evoke), a UAD Apollo 8p interface, a Klark Teknik KT-2A and a Hairball Audio 1176, an Avid Artist Mix with 32 motorised faders, a Mac Studio M2 Max, and microphones from Slate Digital, Audix and Shure. Coffee and tea are included too.
